The story behind One Epic Image…

My first real job was at a professional photo lab in Chicago. I learned how the photo industry worked from processing film to making prints and everything in between. While working there I was studying for a degree in Art when I was offered the opportunity to help create one of the first digital art studios in the city. I’ve spent the past 30 years as a professional computer artist working with many of the top advertising agencies around the world on major corporate campaigns.

Over this period of time I continued to learn about photo techniques both as a hobby and as a creative director on sets and locations with professional photographers. I learned on-the-job how to produce a photo shoot from concept to final image.

In 2007 I fulfilled a dream of moving to Southwest Florida and in 2014 created One Epic Image, Inc., a combined photography and photo retouching studio. I began with product photography, however in 2018 a real estate agent friend asked if I could take some photos for one of his listings. I said “yes” and soon found myself transitioning full time from my other work.

Recently I have been able to combine my photography skills and artistic eye with my love for travel by adding resort and hotel photography to my list of creative services.

On every project I bring a wealth of artistic talent, a creative eye and technical experience in creating images for my clients that are of the highest quality and deliver service that is exceptional.

For my clients I am always trying to create that one epic image!
